WHAT MAKES OUR SHELLS SO SPECIAL?
Each of our oyster shells is hand-picked, admired for its beauty and uniqueness, formed and designed by nature, and gently worn down by the ocean. Like you and me, each shell is a different shape and size.
The shells are hand washed in small batches and gently sanded. One-by-one, a design is chosen to match each shell’s unique shape. Decoupage designs are carefully applied to the inside of the shell while inner rim and outside are gilded with liquid leaf to brilliantly show off the natural curves and ridges that make each shell an individual work of ocean-born art. Finally, each shell receives a glossy varnish for a seal of protection and a beautiful shine.
